A lighthouse is a tower, building, or other type of structure designed to emit light to serve as a beacon for navigational aid. About 40 lighthouses still line the coasts of British Columbia...

Brocton Point
The lighthouse at this location was first built in 1890 with the current lighthouse replacing it in 1915...it stands 105 metres (344 ft) high and was automated in 1956 and deactivated in 2008...located in Stanley Park in Vancouver
